Al -- and all other potential volunteers -- we will be taking the flags down "after work" in the "cool of the evening" at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5. (Thanks for finding the discrepancy which is now corrected!)

I will be helping for the first time this year and am really looking forward to placing the flags along the street. But, I am a little confused about July 5th---is the time to remove the flags 6 am or 6:30 pm?----I found both on the web page.

Thanks to all those who made the event happen again this year. It wouldn't be possible without the support from financial and priceless sponsors as well as the hundreds of volunteers. Hearing taps each evening brings tears to my eyes.

We must honor those who gave their lives and what better way than with the flags and the playing of taps. Thank you

Thanks for doing this every year. I love seeing all the flags and remembering why we celebrate the 4th of July.

I can't wait to see all the flags again this year. GE Money, my employer, is going to help set up the flags this year as part of our new GE Veterans Network organization. We are all very excited.
