THANKS!

I just wanted to thank everyone for their hard work over the last 10 or 11 days. Was another great sucessful event. Thanks so much for all of the work done putting up and taking down, driving rebar and driving trucks. We couldn't have done it without the combined effort of so many great volunteers. So thanks again for making my job easier.  LaVera Howard

I would like to express my thanks to everyone in successfully getting all the flags down and bundled in one night’s work. We are fortunate to have so many dedicated people to support Flags for Freedom and who made this a wonderful event this year.

A special thanks to Jim and Shelly Plekowski for use of the trailer which may it easier for all of us loading and unloading the flags and to Johnny Pieters for use of his facility for storing the flags.

Thanks again,  Bob Vega

I would like to echo Bob and LaVera's appreciation for what each of you have done to make the 2011 F4F a great success!  The flag fields and display received a lot of attention including coverage by the local ABC station.  The turn out on the 4th was "standing room only" with everyone enjoying the band and availability of food.  Your work is very much appreciated!!!!       Carol Eubank

You did great………..it takes a community to do a community event!      Irene French

Again, you guys did a wonderful job! You made Merriam beautiful and many people enjoyed the fruits of your labors. I know it’s a ton of work, but  I’m always L when they are gone!             Patty Santee
